Sudden incident

Juz now class finish at around 4.30pm Adelaide time.....and the weather here was very gloomy & windy. Normally, wat we did juz now was lectures in the class room...then we had a video session after tat we had practicals in the lab...before practical begins, we had 15 minutes tea break but I juz decided to wait outside the lab juz to get some fresh and look at the nice view...our college is located on the hill...but not as nice Canada Hill Miri..HAHA.. Then one of my classmate told me that there's a girl who died.....I got so puzzled, I dont get wats he saying..so took me behind the lab (outside the building). Then this is wat I saw...




















Wat can u see at those pics are policemen were blocking at around in 2 sumting dis afternoon juz outside my college. Wat happen is there's a girl who was crossing the road got hit by a pick up car & she died instantly....one of the Hosanna Heights who's a Uni student was there to observe the incident...I asked him, he told it's woman around 30 yrs of age...

Then during dinner time in the dinning hall, I sat with the University students & they told it's 17 year old girl who died...I was stunned at that moment.....the saddest thing is she was crossing the road juz to get her grandma's house for a visit then suddenly she hit by the car and died instantly...and her grandma was really crying at tat incident...The road was blocked by cops and ambulance & there were reporters there...if Im not mistaken, it's the South Australian news reporters...the thing tat I couldn't believe is it happen in front of me & juz outside my college...MY GOSH!!!

Last Saturday's experience....woohooo!!!

Last saturday, I went for paintball!!! And it rocks!!! If u dont know wats painball, I can say its real life counter-strike...hehe, sumting like tat la..I joined a youth ministry group from Paradise City South Church for this cool activity...Very nice experience, coz u go for battle at the hilly forest, at the creek, and oso at a place tat got a lot of barrels.....I wish Miri got tat activity, hehehe.....well, for this game, we used soldiers costume but when u first where it u look like teletubies...but u oso must wear a mask, sumting like Counter-Terrorist mask to protect ur face....When I wore tat mask, I look like a real counter-terrorist...hehe..we provided with a gun each with red paintballs as bullets. We were divided into 2 groups..

So we went for few rounds of battle.....our group won most of da battles.....I got shot at my arm and knee....ouch!!! it hurts!!!!! because the impact was so strong....I oso met new friends....98% malaysians...coz the youth group is mainly international, got one Aussie guy too....I had a good talk wif him too.... we had this game somewhere outside Adelaide city..Thank God that I found a youth ministry to join in Adelaide....but Im still fully part of EYM Miri.....sori ya? no pics during this game coz we were not allowed to bring cameras during this battle..



Then when I got back to my hostel around 5 sumting...and around 8.00 pm I went for shower...and someone go wrote sumting at the toilet/bathroom....telling everyone tat when u do business in da toilet, his telling us not to put ur footwears on the toilet seat.....but addresses everyone wif a bad word......its a guys toilet of course.. then someone read tat note and terus tear it...after tat got reply...

Those notes are still there until now.....at the male's toilet door...got reply some more....macam sms....who on earth do sms on the toilet door?? Weird la....cubalah do at handphone ka, email ka...ini kat toilet door....

about my course...

Some people have been wondering how's my study life. The question that they ask is"Hows my course"? It's common, of course. Because the course that Im currently doing is quite rare....which is Certificate III in Aged Care Work......for bout 3 months before I do my diploma in nursing. the cours tat im doing deals with old people....it's quite an adventure , coz u'll do lot of practical in the campus lab and also in the Nursing home. Thank God I've passed my Senior First Aid test......the next one is to get good marks for my intensive Work Placement in some weeks time. Most of the time, we were trained on how to care for old people in some areas.......

This wat we did in our practical:
1. Bed making
2. Hand washing
3. Cleaning of dentures
4. Manual Handling
5. Feeding
6. Senior First Aid
7. Shaving..

the last one(shaving) is wat we did juz now.....pics below..

New Hillsong & Planetshakers

I felt in love wif da new hillsong album This is Our God......It really tells us about who God really is..and the 'Healer'& 'Stronger' are my favourites. It tells us wat God can really do in our lives...The whole album is just so amazing.........I bought it at Paradise Community Church....Tats this album tells us who is God to us.....Im amazed to see Mike Guglielmucci sing the song Healer with his oxygen tube on his face coz he was diagnosed with cancer...and he sang tat song coz he believes tat God is his strength in all those pain & sickness tat he faced...




















I also bought the new Planetshakers from Paradise Community Church....its juz so amazing and one of da song tat Im love is 'The Anthem'.......its a song of celebration Christ who had risen & tats we sang praise unto God......It juz a simple song...and also God does everything for coz its ALL FOR LOVE....

Found a Life group (cell group)

Now, at least I found a life group or a cell group to join for proper fellowship and I felt tat dis da group tat I could get connected too. Erica was the first person I met at Paradise Community Church and she told me bout programs for young people who are mainly international students. She invited me to join the Life Group, she sms me.....so decided to join & I told my classmate Alan bout it, so he decided to join too.....Juz now, the first of the year was held at Jenn Yong's house. He(Jenn Yong) picked myself & Alan from our college to his house...he told me tat tonite we juz gonna have fellowship and some dinner.......coz its da first meeting of da year...so at least I found sumthing tat I could a proper with them & especially God......

We had fun there, we had dinner ,we had 3 different pizzas for our dinner & some Ice-creams & played a game called Taboo.......Its only around 9 of us.....and I met one girl which reminds me so much of some girls of EYM Miri, coz she's so hyperactive & quite noisy too...haha...her name is Samantha.....Those who are there was myself, Alan, Yvonne, Mei Ling, Samantha, Eugene, Jenn Yong, Erica & Joy...

We are all Malaysian except for Erica who's from Hong Kong....The rest are West Malaysian except for myself(from Miri of course), Alan(from Sarikei), & Joy(from Kuching)

The Life Group will be held for every 2 weeks, coz next week will be a young people's meeting mainly international students, something like EYM....called Oxygen. Dono why they get such a name....

So to all my fellow EYM friends, I have to say tat I truly miss everyone, tat includes those who are in different places for study........I miss those days, I suddenly think bout u guys when I first met the Life Group members, coz of all the laughter, fun & fellowship tat we shared together....
Keep the RELENTLESS fire burn!! FOR JESUS!!!

Welcome to Adelaide, Aussie land.....

It's a good experience for me to expose myself in a different lifestyle, different environment, different culture & not forget oceans of white people around.....but they're still quite number of asians too...where's tat place?? its Adelaide, the capital of South Australia state, which is the 4th biggest city in terms of how big the area is, but its the 5th biggest city in terms of population(which means Perth has more population).....and its a.k.a(also known as) City of Churches which include different denominations of churches and Church of Scientology....


but one thing I can say bout Adelaide is quite boring coz shops close at 5pm!!!!! Unlike Miri!!!.,.....haiiih....

Note: Its very cold to go to the beach during winter coz its winter with wind. You can during summer but beware of the blazing hot sun.....


















Well, at least I found a suitable church to attend...It was a very cool church.....the worship was quite extraordianry....sumtimes when the pastor is preaching, the crowd juz respond.....its a high tech too, with cool lighting, cameras, and also the way they give the church news...Its like a real news like wat u see on TV....well this month, the church will be havin a miracle month...and also got some programme coming like Fashion Parade...tats reminds me, I'll be attending a dinner which is for new comers.....on dis 26 July....its free furthermore, and its being held at the church cafe.....


Oh ya, btw, the name of da church is Paradise Community Church(Central)....and it's formerly planetshakers church before they move to Melbourne.....and filled with white people....at least I get to talk to one white guy from Melbourne, he's not a member of da church, juz a visitor....well, I actually sat next to him coz there was once me and my friends sat separately coz the church was really pack.........


They're lots of stories to tell bout life here but Im quite tired typing lots of stuff....juz bare with me, ya??

Cool meal......

I realised tat God actually plan something quite cool today. What happen is this.....yesterday, Samuel Verghese, (if some u remember, he came to Miri with his dad on christmas 2006, his dad preach at Canada Hill Church during tat christmas service) from Melbourne, told me tat his dad will be goin to Adelaide for a business trip on the 8/7/08 which is today.....he gave his dad my phone number....so juz now I finished class around 4.20pm, so I decided to skip dinner coz I wasnt tat hungry since after lunch.....so dinner was around 6.30pm, i decided to juz rest in my room, then suddenly, Samuel's dad called me on my moblie phone, Samuel's dad(Ps Kenath Verghese) ask me to juz have some light drinks somewhere in the city, so i decided to accept the offer.......so I juz online in my room after tat....around 8.00, Pr Kenath called saying tat he's nearly there(at my college). To cut the story short, I tot its juz a light cup of coffee, but suddenly, he took me to a hotel restaurant, I was liked "WOW".........he ask me to order watever I want.....so I odered sumting special.....tat is Chicken Piccatta.... tat pic on da right is a Chicken Piccatta...very delicious.......with lots of chips, salads, chicken of course....
It's da first time I ate sumthing special in Australia, rather than always da same thing everyday at da campus....at least I feel better after eating tat delicious food....*phew*

God actually plan sumting tat u never expect sometimes....like i skip dinner coz juz wana hav a rest, but suddenly u hav a special dinner wif others outside........God has engineered cool stuff for u too even if it is not tat big.....THANK GOD FOR TAT WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.....it was da coolest meal so far during my stay in Adelaide......

G'day everybody...
Im still not that familiar with blogging but i felt that I have to start one so that all of you especially those who are in Miri know whats going on with my life in Aussie land....juz bare for quite a while coz i need to learn how to use blog....


Well the picture above is myself on the left with my family and Fredda on the left. tat pic was taken in Brunei Airport, whereby its my last moment with my family at tat time before i depart to a city in South Australia called Adelaide. I felt sad though, especially missing everyone in Miri.

Tat picture is taken in the world's nicest airport in the world which is Singapore Airport Terminal 3. Im quite amazed on how the airport was done. Carpets all around, shops all around

I spend 9 hours in Singapore airport just to wait for my flight to Adelaide which leaves at 2345 hours. Tat pic above is where I online.......



I felt quite emotional at that moment coz i miss everyone in Miri....so at least I chat wif some ppl like Maxwin, justin, Kenaidy & Grace....I really miss Singapore Airport...very facinating

Boeing 777-200

Cool experience of travelling overseas coz i get to travel on a Boeing 777-200 twice from Brunei airport all the way to Adelaide......at least i spend my time watching Vantage Point movie when I flew from Brunei to Singapore. Its Singapore Airlines of course....

Feels different to travel with Oceans of white people in the aircraft, it was about 6 hours 20 minutes flight from Singapore. Arrived at ADL(Adelaide) at 7.35am ADL time.
