Continue...

To continue my previous post, I'd like to express myself during my stay in Australia. U know I can be someone who thinks beyond than my imagination. Like what will happen to this if that happen?? It's been bout 2 months I've been living here and of course I miss Miri a lot.....my life has been going up and down(If You know what I mean). I was looking at everyone at my college and the question is: How's their life like?? Do they know Christ?? Are they committed Christian?? Or are they Christian?? One of the things that I see is now they're living in what I called the western culture, and they've been influence by it.....in my heart, I said " I must try to save them"...not me but Christ to save them....its common to see all these things in a western country. I'm very thankful to God that my life here is the opposite than their.....last saturday, our youth/young pastor, Ps Rowly mentioned that we as young Christian should live life passionately, a life that wants to make a difference.....I felt something in my heart, saying tat "that's the life I should live"...I'm thankful to God that my life has changed slowly than before....doesn't mean that when ur life has change, you immediately become so mature....it takes time to be a mature Christian....God is the one who works..

Now that I'm in Australia now....God placed me here for a purpose. Sometimes when I go online, I put certain music that I like to listen...then there was one song that does attracted me that is "Save Australia" by Planetshakers.....then I took my a little bit of my time from my laptop juz to sing this song unto God.....coz I felt tat Australia is a country that really needs to be save...I dont know how s it going to work but let's see what God is doing....I think why they're many Christian people from other countries entered Australia is because for God's pupose..and u can imagine how big Australia.....Australia is a country that really needs be saved.....

God Bless Australia

but I still do think about my home country Malaysia.....as you know is a Muslim country. I do pray for God to save Malaysia...although is a small country but it still needs to be saved. I know that end of this month, Malaysia is celebrating the Independence day....and I'm sure they'll be huge celebration going on that country....I believe that people in Malaysia needs to know the gospel and know Christ the Saviour...It may be a small country but it still needs JESUS....

Hehe....sorry ar..I only have my passport to indicate Malaysia.
no other stuff...

God Bless Malaysia..

You may think that Im a young Christian is quite silly to think all about this....I dont know what's ur views....but do u care about ur country?? Do you want to see ur country being saved?? or do u want ur country to be loss forever?? Can ur Christian life make a difference to people in ur country?? If u want, just trust in the Lord...and do watever is necessary.....

Psalms 37:5 Commit your way to the Lord: trust in him and he will do this

update on my stories of life in Aussie land

I'd like to take this time just share to everyone onto more serious stuff. Recently, I post some interesting & also some funny stuff. But there are somethings in me that I would like to express rather than just keep it mounting inside of me....

All the time during my stay in Adelaide, I always think bout home(Miri), and of course EYM....coz EYM is where I grew in my spiritual life....My body is in Adelaide but my heart is still in Miri....when I came to think of it, It actually took me some courage to study very far away from home.....some people say Im going to very far away to study....when u ask where are they going? Some might answer KL, Labuan, Singapore, Perak, Selangor etc....well I understand their feelings when it comes to their very first time of leaving home.....feeling emotional, but when I think of it, those places I mentioned isn't far.....coz its still in Malaysia or juz outside Malaysia...like from Miri to KL is not far...juz a 2 hours direct flight....unlike me....Miri to Adelaide takes about 8-9 hours journey on the aircraft excluding transit. If u include transit, it will take u bout 2 days to arrive at ur destination.....and furthermore, Adelaide is at South Australia and u can imagine how big is the whole Australia.....I do have connections in Australia.....I just realised tat we have a group of EYM boys scattered around Australia....In Perth(Matthew Tsen, Maxwin, Hywell), In Sydney(Gabriel Tsen) In Adelaide(Darren a.k.a Myself)...but I believed has a purpose for us in Australia...it's like EYM sending out some of their members to Australia from Miri for God's purpose..hehe...

Im staying in Hostel now....,..doing nursing course....the hostel that Im staying is also a place for an accomodation for any international students to stay...that includes none nursing students or students who are studying in universtity like uniSA (University of South Australia), University of Adelaide and also international students who studying in High School....the hostel has 2 blocks....I juz realised tat there are only 2 none chinese staying in my block but Im the only nursing student who is none chinese staying in tat entire block.....most of my free time I juz stay in my own room and juz do my own thing....sometimes you feel like u wana hang wif them but u felt like tat u are kinda left out coz they only speak their own language among themselves(feel like an alien)but they are still nice people.....tats why I felt homesick...but at least church friends tat help me settle down...like wat I mentioned in my previous post: I played paintball wif them, they were teasing me together wif Ps Micheal Raj...HAHAH!!! I oways love those moment...very supportive...

Last 2 sundays one of our dear church pastor, Ps Matt Heins preached on the topic "IF ONLY" taken from somewhere in the Gospel of John....sometimes ppl regret of wat had happened by saying "If only I did tat, this won't have to happen".....but God actually wants a breakthrough to him.....so why dont juz give ur needs to God....he knows all bout u....juz give everything to him in a humble manner.....DON'T PRETEND TAT THIS THING AREN'T AFFECTING YOU!!!! you've been invited to the cross to tell Christ bout ur needs.....I actually felt tat way too.....but I will still stand strong..

Now tat Im in Australia, life is different, leaving in the wat I can say western culture...and suddenly I recalled the message preached by our youth pastor, Ps Rowly......he said tat people may say "Why go to church? It's insensible" but one thing I wana tell u tat it's a wise decision tat u have made.......people may say tat "Church friends are juz church friends". But to me, they're more than juz church friends.....they're my brothers and sisters in Christ.....I mean, so what?? If other wana say tat to u, juz let them say watever they want.....coz u have made the decision to stand for Christ.....I may not memorized every single details in the Bible but one day I'll try to do it......but at least I the useful messages mentioned in it....wats the point of being a Christian juz go to church on sunday, for youth meeting, and also for cell group but u dont be a Christian on the other days when ur at school.??? But now I felt tat Im bout to go to the next level....God allows to go through some circumstances because he wants us to be like him.....there's actually one more thing tat I wana say it out from my heart but now its nearly 1 am Adelaide time....

SO I"LL CONTINUE IN THE NEXT POST...

GOD BLESS.....

dinner & crazy stuff of myself....

last nite I went for my first dinner at Paradise Community church ...its called New Friends dinner, mainly for new comers who wants to join da church....it's like an orientation to da church whereby they'll take u around da church, introduce to u da pastors & leaders of da church, watching the church history.....there are actually 3 branches of Paradise churches......3 churches in 1 huge combination when there's huge event

1. Paradise Community Church

2. Paradise South City Church

3. Paradise North church

its like our church in Miri whereby u have:

1. SIB Canada Hill

2. SIB Airport Road

3. SIB Lutong Baru

they also have senior pastors who sort of like pastoring these 3 Paradise churches...Ps Ashley Evans & Ps Jane Evans(Husband & wife)....but they weren't there last nite...so another Paradise Community Church pastor, Pastor Matt Heins took over them as the host of tat dinner...I never thought tat the church I attended is like the church in Miri, but it's not coincidence...Its God who plans dis....Ps Micheal Raj was there, always teasing me like how Ps John Chee teased me back in Miri.....dah la Ps Micheal & Ps John are gud friends...HAHAH!!!! he(Ps Micheal Raj) came to Miri 5 years ago to speak in the EYM camp..

I won't say anything much....juz some pics to show...

pack down...

Last nite, around 9pm....there was a yearly event in Church called the bU Conference. It's for women only, by the way..it was the last nite of the conference coz the conference was held for 2 nites I guess....but the men also got the job during the last nite bU Conference...that is to sort of clean up the stage...it was a big job for us to carry all those extra stage...at least I wasn't bored at that time coz I got to meet up wif the Oxygen members....all guys of course...Jenn Yong picked me up at around 9pm to church....but we arrived the around 9.15pm..and the conference wasn't over yet, I supposed..so I met up wif some Oxygen members like Jim, David, Zie and others. The bU wasn't over yet....so we went up to Ps Micheal Raj's office at the church itself.....

That's me (left) sitting Ps Micheal Raj's office chair..

But before that, I took some pics of does the church looks like at night...

The outside of da church, sori pic wasn't tat clear..

That's what I call the reception area of the church...juz outside the main hall...(right)

That's the reception counter....

The church cafe...(Left & Below)

After tat, we went in to do the main hall to clean up the stage....quite a huge task

spot the difference of the stage back drop.......

Before bU conference......

After bU Conference...

Very nice design of back drop...the church also has its own workshop....then Ps Micheal Raj told me tat there's a volunteer carpenter at the church....Im not surprised that he's the one who does the back drop job...

Extra pics:

The stage design...wif the grand piano..

(Right) the side of the stage......

After our job at church was done, we went to the nearest mcdonald for our supper at Windsor Garden...it was around 12.15 midnite....at that time, the oxygen group got to know me, whereas Im the only Sarawakian there, the rest are from West Malaysia. So they asked for my name, I told them tat my name is Darren. They oso wana register to be part of da futsal team.....coz i need to exercise...So when I told tat my name is Darren, one of them asked me "Darren what?" Coz they got another guy called Darren too.....they actually wana identify me as Sarawakian Darren. So Ps Micheal was teasing me in front them...but Im not offended la..

So these are my Sarawakian identifications:

1. Darren Sarawak

2. Darren Native

3. Darren Bumiputera

4. Darren Buaya Bujang Senang

5. Darren Crocodile

So which one suits me? Juz kidding...HAHAH...funny la

So I told them juz call me Darren Robinson. In Miri, Im known as Darren Simunyi but in Australia, Im known as Darren Robinson...they always count the first name & last name...

So when I told them my name, they were shocked tat My name is fully English name...I told them tat majority of natives in Sarawak has English names...so as Sabah

But at least I had a good time meeting them especially when we ate at Mcdonald.....hope to play futsal wif them soon....
